Yes, its a littleeee bit corny, but they will appreciate the effort! I came up with this little plan when I realized in two days.. my boyfriend was coming to my house for the week we planned together for his birthday. I wanted to kick off our week full of fun with a suprise date, sooo when he arrives to my place this coming Wednesday night, I will not be there to greet him! Except he will find the treasure map I created and a treasure box (inside is a pirate outfit for him to wear) and I plan to wait at the park where the treasure map leads too, and set up a picnic for him there : )
What you’ll need:
- Empty wine bottle with a screw screw cap (Usually the ‘banrock’ range of white champagnes have a screw cap, and they taste fantastic!)
- Tea dyed paper http://www.yourbos.com/2009/05/how-to-tea-dye-paper.html
- Rafia to tie a bow on the bottle
- Treasure chest full of goodies.
